REDD Technical working group meeting held on May 10, 2011
Joint workshop MPI SD and CP project and MARD UN-REDD Viet Nam Programme
The workshop aims to consult recommendations from government agencies and experts about forest ecological stratification for application in REDD implementation in Viet Nam.

Training for village interlocutors to help raise awareness and change behavior of the local community related to reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.
The UN-REDD Programme Policy Board, made up of representatives from partner countries, donors to the Multi-donor Trust Fund, Civil Society, Indigenous Peoples and three UN agencies, provides overall leadership, strategic direction and financial allocations to ensure the overall success of the Programme.
